Electrical contractors

Measure on site, hand over a signed work order.

Your technicians answer a safety check, enter the readings and take the photos on their phone. The customer signs on screen and everything prints on one work order you can find again later.

In short

Ekeko for electrical contractors is built for technicians who measure and inspect on site. They answer a safety check, enter readings and take photos on the phone, and a value outside your limits is flagged at once. The customer signs on screen and everything prints on one work order you can find again later.

What's all in there?

Everything a job needs on the road, from the safety check to the signed work order.

Nothing lapses

Certificates, calibrations and inspection dates are watched for you.

A technician's certificate, a measuring instrument's calibration and an installation's inspection each carry a due date, and instruments and installations hold their certificate or report. Reminders go out before the date, and marking an inspection done sets the next one from its interval.

Without it: an overdue calibration is first noticed when the client's auditor asks for the certificate.

At the installation

A reading outside your limits is marked the moment it is entered.

Add a safety check that must be answered before work starts. Then add measurement lines with a unit and a minimum or maximum. A value outside the limits is flagged on the spot, can ask for a note and can open an action item by itself.

Without it: readings sit on paper in the van, and a bad value is found when the report is typed up.

Handed over

Everything measured ends up on one work order the customer signs.

The customer signs on the phone, or on a link you send later. The signed copy is stored exactly as signed, with a fingerprint, and the customer can open it in the portal. If nobody signs, the reason is printed on it.

Without it: the readings are typed into a report that evening, from notes and photos.

After the repair

A fault that keeps returning on one installation lands on a watchlist.

When a repair closes, the technician picks the symptom from your fault catalogue, and the cause and remedy when known. If the same symptom returns on that installation within your window, it lands on a watchlist. You dismiss it or open a finding.

Without it: the third callback for the same fault is the first time anyone sees the pattern.

In the van

Scan a part and see at once whether the van has it.

Scan a part and pick the van, and the app shows what it holds before you save the line. The part comes off the van's stock, and a short van is reported on the spot. A minimum per van puts what falls short on the purchase suggestion list.

Without it: the van is a black box, and a missing part is found out on the doorstep.
